The technological revolution of the 21st century has proven beneficial in many sectors, streamlining the process, and reducing costs. However, the evolution has caused a daunting side effect which we are only starting to see more prominently in recent years. This paper seeks to provide reasoning as to why the Dark Web has become a space that is difficult to police as well as regulate. In addition, it will offer potential reforms that balance individual liberties whilst maintaining law and order within society.
